Going to heaven – Born from the dead – Raised from the grave – Flesh and blood become spirit – Mortal become Immortal – Corrupt become Incorruptible (1Corinthians 15:42-44) All of the above must be viewed and considered within the context of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Don’t separate the term “heaven” from the Second Coming as real life after death begins at the Second Coming of Jesus the Christ. Words cannot describe the blessing we find in believing the revealed truth of God. . The word of God : A lamp unto my feet, a light unto my path , and it brings clarity about the future. Believe the words of Jesus who said that life and death is in His hands. Not all people have been called to be in the first resurrection of the dead. But many have been. We as believers in Jesus Christ are therefore being reminded to make our calling and election sure, to hold on to our crowns. Yes, the first resurrection of the dead is more honourable than the second one. So let us therefore rejoice and enjoy our heavenly relationship here on earth with our Maker.
