Which is more powerful air or fire?

air is the biggest counter to fire . cause there's nothing that fire can do to air . if you put up a wall of air or a ball of air (like aang ) there's nothing a firebender can do to damage you cause FIRE is EASILY blow away by wind .

ok ok now before you write anything just read what i'll write .

Air is everywhere .

Air cannot be seen unless its compressed enough to create a shockwave .

now on to the tournament .

air vs Fire : imo . air is the biggest counter to fire . cause there's nothing that fire can do to air . if you put up a wall of air or a ball of air (like aang ) there's nothing a firebender can do to damage you cause FIRE is EASILY blow away by wind . the only case is if the firebender uses lightning . and even that if the air bender quickly dodges it . then its over . Air vs Earth : air being the most mobile and agile element . its not really that hard to dodge rock . and more so enought air compressed can knock a bolder away easily . and if used the shield technique that aang used against ozai any rock or bolder or metal that hits it . will just spin and fly away . so its pretty much in vain . the only way an earth bender can win is if he traps the airbender underground . and even that may be not possible cause air benders are airborne most of the time . Air vs Water (blood bending excluded out ) : Water is strong it can be used as a blade sharp enough to cut steel it can be frozen etc etc . as we've seen in the legend of korra . water is easily countered whit air attacks . throw a wip of water . boom air splits its right in between . try to freeze the water he flies away . zaheer is the perfect example of how overpowered air can be if used correctly . now let me remind you . AIR IS UNSEEN YOU CANT SEE IT . PLUS. if one masters the flying ability well then that's a whole level.

What is the rarest element?

Astatine Astatine (At) may be the rarest naturally occurring element in the Earth's crust, but it is a member of the halogen family [fluorine (F), chlorine (Cl), bromine (Br), iodine (I), and astatine (At)] and is presumed to have characteristics similar to other Group 17 elements.

We recently received a comment on our blog article, Can You Name All 17 Rare Earth Elements? The reader said: “Astatine 85 is the rarest element. Your list has not mentioned it. So total is 18.”

I’d like to address the reader’s comment.

As mentioned in the article, the 17 Rare Earth Elements (REEs) are as follows in order of Atomic Number: 21 – Scandium (Sc) – does not occur in economic concentrations in the same geological settings

57 – Lanthanum (La)

58 – Cerium (Ce)

59 – Praseodymium (Pr)

60 – Neodymium (Nd)

61 – Promethium (Pm) – rare and unstable

62 – Samarium (Sm)

63 – Europium (Eu)

64 – Gadolinium (Gd)

65 – Terbium (Tb)

66 – Dysprosium (Dy)

67 – Holmium (Ho)

68 – Erbium (Er)

69 – Thulium (Tm)

71 – Lutetium (Lu)

Astatine (At) may be the rarest naturally occurring element in the Earth’s crust, but it is a member of the halogen family [fluorine (F), chlorine (Cl), bromine (Br), iodine (I), and astatine (At)] and is presumed to have characteristics similar to other Group 17 elements. The meaning of the word “rare” in the term “rare earth elements” does not relate to the scarcity of these elements. REE are defined by IUPAC (International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry) as being the 15 lanthanides (atomic number 57-71) plus Sc (21) and Y (39). These elements are all lumped together as they tend to both occur together and have very similar chemical properties.

I hope this explanation helps to clear the confusion.
