Way to go! Day 19 of the Fast!

I want to share with you a simple prayer that you can pray anywhere, at any time, because you always have your fingers to remind you! I pray this when I sense the Holy Spirit urging me to pray, but I also like to pray it when I see three of the same numbers on a digital clock (3:33 or 5:55, etc.). I have been surprised by how many times I see those numbers since I've set my heart to pray this way. I have also included a shorter version of this prayer that is easy to pray when you are in a hurry. 1. Thumb | Ask the Holy Spirit to cultivate His fruits and gifts in your life. "But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!" (Galatians 5:22-23 NLT)

Gifts: 1 Corinthians 12:8-10

Pray this: "Holy Spirit, produce this kind of fruit in my life: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. I want to flow in: words of knowledge, words of wisdom, discerning of spirits, gifts of healing, working of miracles, faith, prophecy, tongues, and interpretation of tongues for the edification of the body of Christ!"

2. Pointer Finger | Resist the devil.

Pray this: "In the Name of Jesus, satan, I break your power over my spirit, soul, and body— over any way that you would try to dominate me. I proclaim my deliverance and victory. You are a defeated foe. Jesus dethroned you and all of your cohorts. I am no longer afraid of you. Heaven, earth, and hell know that God raised Jesus up from the dead and has seated Him at His own right hand, far above all principalities, and powers, and might, and dominion. He has given Jesus the name ABOVE EVERY NAME! And that name belongs to me. There’s power in that name! There’s glory in that name! There’s majesty in that name! There’s authority in that name! And I have a right to use the name of Jesus! So, satan, be gone in the name of Jesus! Sickness, be gone in the name of Jesus! Pain, leave my body! All evil, leave me. Doubt & unbelief, be gone. Infirmity & poverty, be gone. Religion, be gone. I declare faith, prosperity, and Holy Spirit Liberty. In the name of Jesus, I have VICTORY!"

I place the blood of Jesus over every host of wickedness and darkness concerning me. I place the blood of Jesus over every demonic assignment and attempt concerning me. NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME WILL PROSPER! IN JESUS POWERFUL, ANOINTED NAME!"

5. Pinky Finger | Loose the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

Pray this: "I declare Ephesians 1:17-19, 'That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to me a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of my heart may be enlightened, so that I will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe.’"

This is the long version of the five finger prayer.

Sometimes I pray a much shorter version: "Holy Spirit, cultivate the fruits of the Spirit and Your gifts in my life (thumb). Devil, I resist you. Flee from me (pointer finger)! Lord, I ask You to release your angels on my behalf (middle finger). I plead the blood of Jesus over myself and my family (ring finger). I loose the anointing of the Holy Spirit (pinky finger)."

God promises that if I ask, He will always answer!
