What is the real source of abundance in your life?

Most people have collapsed the concept of abundance with the condition of having plenty of money, but true abundance – as I define it here – encompasses far more than material possessions or luxuries. Satisfaction, fulfillment, joy, ease, happiness, creativity, compassion, freedom, love and wellbeing… these are all expressions of the essential, internal energy of abundance. When we deliberately cultivate this energy within ourselves, the external manifestations of abundance flow more easily into our lives. All of life is energy: Love is energy. Money is energy. Happiness is energy. Fortunately, we live in a universe where there is an unlimited supply of energy. An abundance of all that we desire is available to us in this and in every moment, but our beliefs about what’s possible determine how much we will allow ourselves to receive. If we believe that resources are scarce; that creating wealth means sacrificing a personal life; or that past hardship will prevent us from creating future happiness, these beliefs will keep out of our lives that which is trying ceaselessly to come in. The Law of Attraction is a universal principle which states that what we send out through our vibration – the sum total of our beliefs, thoughts, feelings and actions – is reflected back to us in the quality of experiences that we draw to us. This means that if what we are attracting into our lives is not providing us the experiences we want – or worse, if what we are attracting is providing us an abundance of experiences that we don’t want – this is not a fluke. It’s the Law of Attraction in action. It is simply delivering to us the degree of abundance we believe we are capable of creating. A lot of times, people experience an abundance of struggle, an abundance of pain, or an abundance of frustration. What they may not realize is that they are attracting abundance – it’s just not the kind of abundance they want! If we are attracting evidence of lack or insufficiency, the problem is not that the Law of Attraction isn’t working. The problem is that we don’t yet understand how to work with the law. You see, just like the law of gravity, there are certain universal laws that operate invisibly behind the scenes. And in the same way that gravity is at work whether you “believe” in it or not, these laws exist whether you are aware of them or not, and whether you choose to consciously apply them or not.

When your beliefs about what is possible are in alignment with the energy of limitlessness and abundance, you magnetize greater possibilities into your life. And when your beliefs are aligned with the vibration of scarcity and lack, the range of possibility that you are able to perceive constricts, holding you apart from the very things you desire. To dismantle any hidden or unconscious beliefs in scarcity, remind yourself that there is no limit to the abundance available to you or to anyone, and challenge yourself to take on a more generous, expansive belief.
