INTRODUCTION

All people who operated in the realm of abundance walked alone with God. They lived a consecrated and separated life and were blessed because they followed, loved, obeyed, worshiped and served God sheepishly. (Deuteronomy 10:12-13) Your position or the title you have or hold does not count before God. What God rewards is your faithfulness. Therefore, you should be separated from the crowd so that you will excel and flow in the realm of supernatural abundance. Until Abraham separated from Lot, he did not receive God’s blessings. Isaac and Jacob waxed greater and greater because they lived a consecrated life. The qualities that made them flow in the realm of abundance are patience, tenacity of purpose, self control and creativity. These attributes are summed up in Galatians 5:22-23; 2 Peter 1:5-8. The child of God should learn the secrets of fruitfulness and know the fruits of the Spirit which is able to promote and prosper him exceedingly. We should always apply what Apostle Paul wrote to the Ephesians in the book of Ephesians 4: 31-32, which advised as follows: Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamour, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. God is looking for people He will use to bless the world and these men must have dominion and impact the world positively. It is time to operate in the realm of abundance, for those who know their God shall be strong and carry out great exploits. (Daniel 9:32b) Divine abundance is our portion all the days of our life if we follow the teachings of the scriptures. Our journey should start and end on Mt Zion – the church of Christ, where every thing in life is settled. You should acquire or learn marketable job skills to be able to operate in the realm of divine abudance.

Secrets and Seeds for Prosperity in Business

Every Christian should grow in wisdom, understanding and knowledge everyday.

Moses said: I call heaven and earth as witnesses today…., that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing, therefore choose life that both you and your descendants may live. That you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers…"

The people replied, …we also will serve the LORD, for He is our God Joshua 24:18. We should realize that God is our life line. Therefore, we should try to follow Him, love Him, obey Him, worship Him, and serve Him for our good. Friend, may God bless you as you do so. (Deuteronomy 10:12-14) Life is short and it is borrowed. Therefore, maximize and optimize it by strictly obeying God and carrying out Bible principles as enunciated in Philippians 4:8

Apostle Paul stressed that we should fix our minds on what is:

a. True

b. Noble or honourable

c. Just

d. Pure

e. Lovely or Lovable

f. Anything that is of good report or kind

g. What is virtuous or excellent

h. Praiseworthy

The choice is entirely yours. A better choice is to do good and obtain a good testimony (Hebrews 11: 32-40) No one wins the battles of life without committing some Bible verses to memory. Make out time to study the scriptures so that you will not make costly and foolish mistakes. The Bible is an eye opener, to teach you how to put things straight in your life everyday (2 Timothy 3: 16-17) There are certain codes of behaviours that should be observed and obeyed by anyone who wants to succeed in business. The greatest undoing of people in business is lack of commitment to what one is doing. Never allow sexual immorality in your place of business, it is a spoiler. Be humble and obey God so that it shall be well with you (1 Kings 15: 5) The methods and strategies every child of God should apply to achieve greatness are hereby addressed in the following words of wisdom. 1. Avoid sin and iniquity and meditate on the word of God all the days of your life. This is the summary of all the other points I will raise in this book (Psalm 1: 1-3; Proverbs 25: 13; 30: 5-6) 2. Make discoveries. Do not be a copier. Improve on other people’s ideas, or make inventions or sing unto God. (Genesis 26: 22-33) 3. Commit all your ways to God. Do not trust on your own wisdom or knowledge or understanding (Psalm37:3-7) 4. Ask God for the spirit of power, love and sound mind. Avoid unbelief (2 Timothy 1:7) 5. God has set open doors for us but we must work extra-hard to maintain our deliverance (Revelation 3:7-12) 6. God has set open heaven for us but we should repent of all known and unknown (secret) sins (Deuteronomy 28: 1,12-13; Psalm 19: 12-13) 7. Ask for healing for your family, business and your land (2Chronicles 7:13-14)

8. God has given us the grace to be profitable (Isaiah 48:17)

9. Open your mouth wide and ask God to supply all your needs (Psalm 45:1, 5-7, 2:7-9; 81: 10) and anoint you above your companions.

10. Be ready to fight spiritual battles everyday (Psalm 91;121;125; Isaiah 54:14-17)

11. Increase in wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Learn and be willing to submit to God (Isaiah 1:17-20, Daniel 9:2; 2 Timothy 4:13) 12. You should give a good account of yourself everyday. Be like gold, for when it is tested by fire it is better refined (2Timothy 2:15; 19-21; 1Corinthians 3: 9-14) 13. Get wisdom for it is supreme, that you may live long (Proverbs 4:7-9, 2:1-6,10-12) 14. Be serious in all your assignments (1Peter 1:13; 2 Corinthians 11:3; Proverbs 23:7) 15. Always remember that God cannot be frustrated or stopped from blessing you. You should have faith and ambition and allow Master Jesus to complete His work (Ephesians 3:20; Philippians 1: 6) 16. You should radiate good will everyday so that you shall prosper (3 John 2; Luke 2:52; 1 Peter 3:13) 17. Always think on and meditate on praiseworthy and excellent things (Philippians 4:8) Remove junk from your mind by continually filling your heart and mind with the word of God (2 Peter 3:16-18)

18. You should observe the principles of fruitfulness (2 Peter 1:5-8)

19. Always remember that you are highly rated by God, so, think big (Ephesians 1:17-21) 20. God has placed no limit on us (Genesis 11: 6; Isaiah 40: 31) 21. You should always renew your mind by attending training and getting exposed to work experiences (Romans 12: 2) 22. Always remember that with God all things are possible (Exodus 14: 13-31; Mark 9:23)

23. Speak the word to all situations (Job 22:28-30; Jeremiah 24:4-7)

24. Always remember that there shall be showers of blessing and God will break every yoke and make you unshakable (Ezekiel 34:25-31) 25. Whatever happens in life God remains God (Psalm 90:1-2; Mark 11: 23-24) 26. You cannot be killed and all negative proclamations must be dislodged by God. All who practice evil shall perish (Psalm 125; Psalm 7: 9; Jeremiah 51 : 29)

27. You are unstoppable (Psalm 138:7-8; 1 Samuel 30; Jeremiah 1:19)

28. Ever increasing prosperity is your portion (Genesis 26:12-14,22-33) Our enemies must surrender (Deuteronomy 33:29)

29. As your days so shall your strength be (Deuteronomy 33:24-25)

30. Cancel every false prophecy, all the good promises of God must come to pass in your life (Ezekiel 12:21-28, Joshua 21:43-45) 31. God shall wipe away tears from all eyes. He has the power to make all things new and to make you fulfill your destiny (Revelation 21: 4-7) 32. Remember always that God must be glorified and exalted in the affairs of men forever (Psalm 46:8-10)

33. God said that we shall never suffer losses (Isaiah 30:15, 18-19)

34. Bless yourself and bless your business everyday (Psalm118:17)

35. Seek God’s presence and allow the spirit to guide all your decisions (Isaiah 30:21)

36. Light shall shine in that business (Isaiah 60: 19-20; Psalm 139:12)

37. Remember that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. Be like Jesus and His Disciples who were celebrities (Psalm 139:14-18; Matthew 10: 1) 38. Seek God and His kingdom first. Avoid idol worship. Commit your business and all your daily decisions to God who knows everything (Matthew 6:33; John 6: 6, 63) 39. Remember that God is faithful if we obey His covenant with us (1Kings 3:3-15) 40. Do not allow satanic ordinances to destroy your business. Go ahead to invite genuine men of God in that business so that you shall defeat Satan. (Daniel 3:15-18,26-30; 2 Chronicles 20: 20) 41. Do not allow yourself to be weighed on the balance of God’s judgment and you are found empty, learn from your mistakes, make amends with God and move on (Daniel 5:23-30; 6:10-28) 42. Claim one hundred fold and one thousand fold returns on your investments. When you make discoveries, it shall be so for you. (Deuteronomy 1:10-11; Genesis 30: 33-43) You should be fully loaded with ideas, attract investments and be an astute manager of resources. 43. You should contend with all the evil divinations against you for the shout of the king is among you and your people (Numbers 23:19-24).

Always show appreciation to men and to God for sparing your life and putting you ahead of your enemies (Psalms18:45-50; 103:1-5; 100; 150) 53. You should be careful to talk less and do more so that you shall achieve more (James 3:2-16) 54. The fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace (James 3:17-18, Hebrews 12:14) 55. Do the right thing at the right time. Do not experiment with life, for the Bible contains solutions to all your problems (James 4:17) 56. Do not pass scathing remarks or stab anyone at the back with unpleasant words for any reason. A cheater or a slanderer must pay, some day. (James 4:11-12) 57. If you are suffering, pray profusely. Wake up in the night and pray. Remind God of His promises (James 5:13-17; Psalms 55:22; 119: 62; 147-148) 58. Choose and employ wise and understanding men to serve in your company, do not show partiality, tribalism and nepotism for these vices have killed many businesses in Africa. Any company where favoritism is reigning shall definitely ossify. (Deuteronomy 1:13-17; Exodus 18:17- 26) 59. Hear the voice of God on any issue. Get the brethren in that market or company and establish a fellowship there. Invite genuine men of God, especially on Mondays so that you begin the week well. Never allow any curse to abide: cancel all curses. (Proverbs 26:2) 60. By humility and fear of the Lord are riches and honour and life (Proverbs 22:4) Humility is the mark of Christ, be Christ-like, do not boast in any situation for you are a mere facilitator before God (Isaiah 40:4-6) 61. Do genuine business; do not kill anyone to get money. When you have over-invoiced, you have committed an atrocity that will be difficult to erase. Do not cheat in business by marking up the prices of your wares above twenty percent, if you are enjoying monopoly do not kill yourself by setting cut-throat prices (Proverbs 21:1-7). Try and seek God to change the heart of your enemies so that they will forgive you and not kill you (Proverbs 21:1) 62. Learn how to say sorry so that you will live long. Say sorry to your wife, to your colleagues and to anyone whenever you offend them (2 Chronicles 32:25-26; 1kings 21:25-29) 63. You should apply mercy and truth in all you do (Proverbs 20:28-29; 3:3-4) You shall find favour and high esteem when you allow mercy and truth to influence your business (Proverbs 23:23; 16:6-7) 64. Do not be a talebearer or a busybody. Leave vengeance to God. Many have died out of self inflicted vengeance and vendetta. Allow God to do His unusual miracles. If He could guide and protect the people for forty years and seventy years respectively, He has the power to protect you, so do not worry or fret too much (Proverbs 20:23) 65. Those of us who import fake and substandard products should beware that God abhors their dastardly acts (Proverbs 20:23) 66. Be ready to learn and to do good, to carry out good works (Isaiah 1:17-20; Proverbs 19:23-29) 67. Remember always that the Lord’s Counsel must stand in the affairs of men. If you are at the wrong place or business, change immediately no matter the amount of money you get or you have invested there. I wasted thirty-three years doing other businesses when God told me in 1979 that I shall feed His flock. Please obey the heavenly vision always; when God has called you to win souls; please do that and stop complaining and murmuring (Proverbs 19:21) 68. Do not allow your life to chance, follow Christ sheepishly no matter what you are experiencing (John 1:41-47). The major reason why people fail in business is that they think that they stand when actually they are not doing well (Proverbs 16:5). Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall (1Corinthians 10:12) 69. Avoid all the pitfalls which the Israelites encountered in the wilderness. It is during the time of hardship that God proves your obedience, humility, integrity and faithfulness. Therefore, be faithful unto the end (Deuteronomy 8:2, 18; Matthew 24:13-14; Revelation 3:10) Do not allow anything in life to make you lose your focus in life. Tenacity of purpose, self-control and discipline, conquer (Proverbs 24:5-6) 70. Christ is given to us; make Him King of kings and Lord of lords in that business (Isaiah 7: 6-7; Revelation 19: 11-16). He alone will make you a wonderful personality, guide you, and make you great to have staying power and give you peace. You shall definitely multiply in all directions (Isaiah 54:2-3; 11:3-5) 71. Do not remove the ancient land marks so that you do not die young (Proverbs 23:10-11)

72. Be kind to people (Proverbs 22:9; Psalm 41:1-3)

73. Avoid bribery. Everything we do should follow due process. Cheating and malpractices should stop (Deuteronomy 17:19) 74. You should have excellent spirit (Daniel 6:3-4) and you should be blameless (Genesis17:1-7;

75. Avoid war, do not have many concubines for that was the greatest undoing of Solomon (Deuteronomy 17:16-17) Avoid inordinate quest for money (1Timothy 6:10) 76. Envy no one. Use your talents to serve God and humanity. Avoid unnecessary rivalry with contemporaries or your superiors (Genesis 50:18-21)
