1) Make peace with your past.

Always get over things and bury the past so that it doesn’t spoil your present. The past always haunts and causes trouble to the person. So either you find the root cause of the problem and solve it or learn to make peace with it and focus on your present.

2) What others think of you is not your problem.

Those chaar log everyone keeps scaring you off with? Well, they are only in your mind. Kuch toh log kahenge, logon ka kaam hai kehna. Focus on working and shaping yourself into a better person and don’t bother about the snarky back-bitchers.

3) Time heals almost everything.

Give time some more time and things which you feel can never heal will too have a solution! Don’t stop and be disillusioned instead channelize your energies into positivity and let time do the rest. PATIENCE.

4) No one is the reason for your happiness, except you yourself.

Be Happy or at least make a genuine effort to be Happy. Make an effort to smile no matter how hurt/angry/tired you are. This will teach you to be a stronger person.

5) Don’t compare your life with others.

You have no idea what their journey is all about. Comparison kills the purpose and diverts your energies to unnecessary things and gives rise to jealousy and unhealthy competition. Take the positives from everyone and be your own person.

6) Stop overthinking and over stressing yourself.

It’s okay to not know everything. Your mind needs rest and rejuvenation. Over thinking is that poison which generates stress and kills you from within, albeit slowly. Don’t over think and over stress yourself.

7) Smile.

Give a broad happy and toothy smile to everyone including yourself. You have won half of your battles. Smile is the best accessory which one can wear. It exudes confidence, warmth and beauty all in equal measures. Go Miles, Smiles.
